Data Visualisation

One of the aims of FDS is to develop some form of data 'visualisation' system for easier analysis of gathered flight data. Before the formation of NASRA FDS, some work was conducted by NASRA into visualisation which was primarily based upon the basis that careful observation and video analysis would allow a visual model of the flight to develop. The current focus of FDS is to provide a combination of 'real-time' data formatted to allow trend-visualisation with simulated flat-flight represenation and added post-launch video analysis launch events.

The ultimate goal is once the data and projections are linked and timelined, this could be used along with timed video stills to provide a cohesive resource showing each 'frame' of the flight along with the real data talled to that moment.

The phatMan launch was the first launch with full flight-data and was off-video for too long to make this pastiche of data with video impossible for this launch. Hopes are high at NASRA FDS that the upcoming Gagarin I launch will provide source material for this modelling.
